Today I’m featuring another card using part of the Ornate Garden Suite. This one is a sympathy card. Unfortunately more and more of these cards are necessary. I’m also showing a birthday card to show the versatility.
I stamped the flower image with Memento Ink on white and cut out with my Scan n’ Cut machine and then cut the outline out again a little larger for the mat. You can easily fussy cut the image. I stamped and cut several so I would have more to play with. I used one of the Ornate Layers dies for the Vanilla panel and then embossed it with the Subtles EF and adhered to the Soft Suede Card Base. I used many different Stampin Blends to color the flower image and attached to the Old Olive backing and then added to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Here is a Birthday card with the same idea:
A few differences on this card is that I used the Perennial Essence Vellum for the backing behind the sentiment. It was embossed with the Subtles EF. The Old Olive Ribbon is from the Ornate Garden Suite.
Here is the inside of the Birthday card:
When I cut the larger flower image I also cut the smaller flower and backing.
If you would like to make this card or have any questions, you can add a comment or email me Durgans@comcast.net
I will be happy to help.
I hope I have given you a few ideas today. Thank you for stopping by!
