I haven’t had the time to create and post in a while so I must say it feels good to play with stamps, ink and paper. We have a friend who is not feeling well and I wanted to send her a card to let her know we are thinking about her. The challenge from the Global Design Project gave the perfect platform along with using the Healing Hugs stamp set.
I love the texture that the distinctive stamp creates.
I started by running the Tufted Dynamic TIEF through the Big Shot with the white panel. I trimmed some of the Subtles DSP at an angle and applied it to the white panel and then adhered it to the Sparkle Glimmer paper. I wrapped some Silver & White Baker’s Twine around the two panels. Then I adhered them to the Highland Heather card base and added the bow with a glue dot.
I stamped and fussy cut the flower and leaves and added them to the Sparkle Glimmer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The circle was then added to the Highland Heather Scalloped Circle and added to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment and used one of the Stitched Labels Framelits to cut it out and add to the card front.
I stamped the flowers on the inside with Basic Gray and colored with Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather markers.
I had trimmed down the DSP from the front which gave the angled look for the middle strip.
