Today I’m using the Tranquil Tulips Hostess stamp for the challenge from the Paper Players.
One of the things I love about this stamp is that it is Okay to use the same color for the tulip. I have tried using different shades of different colors and it just didn’t work for me. The great thing is that you stamp the layers full force. You don’t have to stamp off to get a better look.
Here’s my card:
I started by inking a sponge dauber with Rose Red ink and applying to the panel of Springtime Foils Specialty DSP and rubbed any extra ink off with a tissue. For the tulips I stamped an extra set to fussy cut and adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Wink of Stella to the tulips and some rhinestones to finish the card.
I stamped the tulip again on the inside. I didn’t use a sentiment so I could have some flexibility.
