The challenge from Stamp Ink Paper is Tic-Tac-Toe. I chose the diagonal line : Sequins, Flowers, Embossing.
Which way would you go? I definitely wanted to use the new Basket Weave Dynamic TIEF so that limited my choices. I wanted to use the coordinating stamp set, Blooming Basket so with the flowers that lead me to the last component, Sequins. I admit I don’t use a lot of sequins so this is a great time to change things up.
This bundle you can get for FREE with a $100 (before S&H and tax).
Here’s my card:
I sponged the vanilla panel with Crumb Cake after it embossing it with the Basket Weave Dynamic TIEF. I stamped the basket of flowers twice so I could fussy cut the second and add with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I did the same with the butterfly only I added it to the card with a glue dot.
For the ribbon I cut about a 8″ strip and tied it in a square knot. I cut the ribbon close to the bow so I add it to the panel with Fast Fuse. Then I attached the panel of vanilla and Calypso Coral to the Crumb Cake card base.
I stamped the basket on a scrap of paper and then trimmed it down as close as I could with the Paper Trimmer. It comes to about 3-1/8″ x 2-7/8″. I adhered that (after colored) to the 3-1/4″ x 3″ Crumb Cake Panel. I added the trim from the Petals & More Thinlets to the Crumb Cake with Fast Fuse and then to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
After I stamped the Happy Birthday I used the Classic Label Punch and lined it up pretty close to the end and punched. Then I laid the banner back in the punch to trim the other side. I added that to the Calypso Coral backing and then to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I colored the flowers with Clear Wink of Stella and added a few sequins to finish the card.
The sentiment is from Special Celebrations and the basket was stamped with Crumb Cake.
