Happy New Year! My wish for you is to have a happy and healthy 2018…….and you find some time for crafting. The challenge from the Paper Craft Crew is Holiday Inspiration. Since this is a new year that is direction I took for my project. This is my first attempt at an Eclipse card and I’m already thinking of other ways to use this technique.
I started with a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of white cardstock. I stamped the large snowflakes in Versamark randomly, sprinkled with Silver Embossing Powder and heat embossed it. Then I stamped the smaller snowflake and heat embossed the Copper and then finished with more small snowflakes and Gold embossing powder. This is when I laid the numbers across the panel and ran it through the Big Shot. Save all of the pieces. I adhered the white panel to Silver Foil and then to the Smoky Slate card base. For dimension on the numbers I used left over shaker adhesive from the November Paper Pumpkin. You could also double up on regular dimensionals to get the same effect. I used Copper Foil for the “celebrate” (which you can get for FREE with a $100 order during SAB). I also used some retired Coaster board to back up the sentiment.
I heat embossed the sentiment with Silver and for the glasses I used copper. I colored the inside with Light & Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin Blends. You can barely see the clear epoxy shapes (Occasions Catalog).
