The theme for the challenge from the Global Design Project is Grateful. There is always someone in our lives we want to feel appreciated. It could be family, friends, anyone who may have made your day one way or the other. This is a perfect way to let someone know that their kindness did not go unnoticed. I chose to combine the Colorful Seasons bundle and the stamp set called Paisleys & Posies for today’s project.
I’m using glossy paper for the background. Stamp the Leaves with Black Archival ink. Let dry, With a white color crayon I colored the leaves randomly. Then I sponged the panel with Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Always Artichoke. Then I used a paper towel to get the extra ink off of the crayon. I used Copper Embossing Powder to heat set the sentiment.
I used the leaf thinlit from the Seasonal Layers for the leaves. I added a copper trim bow and some Metallic Enamel Shapes to finish the card.
I stamped and colored an additional leaf on the glossy paper for the inside.
