Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was filled with a little golf, football and some stamping. Doesn’t get much better than that does it?
Here is my card:
I started by stamping the flower on a 3″ x 3″ white scrap. Initially I was going to cut it out but found myself leaving it and topping it with a Night of Navy frame, Window Sheet and making it a shaker card. I used some of the tiny gold sequins, some larger one and some silicone beads for the insides. I layered the white square on some So Saffron, then to the front panel which starts with the Night of Navy card base, Always Artichoke and White panels. I stamped the leaves with Always Artichoke ink on Always Artichoke paper and used the leaf punch to cut them out. I used glue dots to adhere the leaves. I stamped the sentiment on Always Artichoke with White Craft ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat embossed it. I used the Bunch of Banners Framelits to cut it out and adhered it to the front of the shaker.
I was playing around with the Night of Navy ink to see what a flower would look like. It wasn’t what I was looking for for the front but I didn’t want to trash it so I punched it out with the Starburst punch and added it to the inside.
