Our oldest daughter has accepted a position for a new job in a city closer to family. We are so excited for her and wanted to make a card to send her. My project is based on the challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch.
I started by cutting a circle in a scrap of cardstock using the largest circle in the Layer Circles Framelits. I added the scrap to the card front with removable adhesive. I also used a corner scrap for the right side of the design. I used a sponge and a straight edge of cardstock to add the Dapper Denim ink. I sponged a little and then gradually turned the paper and sponged each time you move the paper.
For the sentiment I added the multipurpose adhesive sheet to both sides of some white card stock. After adhering to the card I pulled the top adhesive off and added Gilding Flakes. I like the idea of mixing the colors for a little pop. You could easily just use some of the gold foil for the sentiment. I was just in the mood to make a mess 🙂 .
Paper: Dapper Denim, Gold Foil, White Ink: Dapper Denim Accessories: Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets, Year of Cheer Washi Tape, Sponge, Gilding Flakes (non SU)
