I’m using the Bright Wishes stamp set for today’s project which is based on two challenges. The color challenge from the Global Design Project and the sketch from Fab Friday. It’s no surprise that I’m using the polished stone technique again since I really like the results. I used a cotton ball saturated (almost) with alcohol and ink refills of Bermuda Bay and Flirty Flamingo. I dabbed it on the glossy paper and then dabbed it again with a dry cotton ball. Then I stamped the wishing well with Black Archival ink. The results are always different and that’s one of the things I like about this technique.
and here is my card:
Stamp: Bright Wishes Paper: Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flamingo, White, Glossy Ink: Bermuda Bay and Flirty Flamingo ink refills, Bermuda Bay, Black Archival Accessories: Quilt Top TIEF, Doily, Stampin’ Dimensionals
The washi tape is from my “jar”. I have a large glass jar that I put my washi tape in. It is visible to see everything in the jar and it’s a decoration as well 🙂 .
Here are the challenges that inspired my card:
