The challenge this week for the Global Design Project is to CASE the Designer Tanya Kolar. I like Tanya’s style and designed my card based on her card layout.
Here is the challenge that inspired my card:
and here is my card:
I started by using the Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF and the white panel. It was a little damp since I spritzed it with water so I let it dry for a little while. Then I used a sponge and some Crumb Cake ink to add a little color to the planks. I used Soft Sky ink to sponge a little color on the larger stitched square. For the top layer I inked the background stamp with Crumb Cake, stamped the image after stamping off twice. I found a scrap of white for the sentiment and then added it with snail. After stamping and cutting out the bird with the matching framelit I added the Gold Metallic Thread with a Stampin’ Dimensional. I used a Black Sharpie marker to color the smallest pearl for the bird’s eye.
I used some old washi tape from my “jar” for the inside of the card along with the bird.
Stamp: Best Birds Paper: Soft Sky, White Ink: Soft Sky, Crumb Cake Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Birds & Blooms Thinlits, Gold Metallic Thread, Glitter Enamel Dots, Pearls, Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF, Sponge, Stampin’ Dimensionals
If you need any stamping supplies I’d be happy to be your demonstrator. If you have any comments or questions, I’d love to hear from you.
Enjoy your day and thank you for stopping by today!
