The retiring stamp I’m featuring today is the Traveler.
As I focus on the retiring items I’m realizing how many great stamps are leaving. I thought the ship in this set helped create a nice masculine birthday card. The challenge from the Paper Players is Clean and Simple: On the Go, use a vehicle on your card. So here it is:
I used the cloud framelits from Up & Away to create a mask. I used a dauber and white craft ink to create the clouds. I used the water stamp from High Tide. Of course I had to use Wink of Stella on the water. I stamped the ship on the Soft Sky panel and again on Smoky Slate paper. I hand cut the ship & adhered over the original stamped image. I stamped the Happy Birthday from That’s The Tag (also retiring) and used the Classic Label Punch to cut it out.
I stamped the ship on the inside and stamped a second and third time moving it to the left, creating a sense of motion.
