I used the Swan Lake stamp set from Stampin’ Up! for the sketch challenge from the Global Design Project. I haven’t had a chance to try this set yet so I thought it was the perfect opportunity. I had a scrap of the Serene Scenery DSP Stack that looked like water. I enhanced the water look by using the water stamp from High Tide. I used Soft Sky ink and just stamped across the scrap and adhered it to the Soft Sky Panel. For the clouds I made a mask using the framelits from Up & Away Thinlits and colored them with White Craft ink using a Sponge Dauber. Then I wrapped some Linen Thread around the panel and tied a bow. I adhered that panel to the Island Indigo base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the swan with Black Archival ink on watercolor paper. I used an aqua painter to color the sky, water and the swan’s beak. I couldn’t resist and used the Clear Wink of Stella on the Swan. Of course it is hard to see but in person he sparkles.
