Today I used two different Sale-A-Bration items on my project for Hand Stamped Sentiments and Mojo Monday. It’s a color challenge from HSS258 and a sketch from MOJO486. The sentiment is heat embossed with White embossing powder. Now the question is which method is best?
For the top circle I used White Craft ink and added the white embossing powder.
For the bottom circle I used Versamark and white embossing powder.
Which do you think looks better? After going through this exercise I like the top circle better and used that one on my card. Both will work, I just felt I got better coverage using the craft ink.
So this leads me to the card:
For the white panel, I used the stamps from the Oh So Succulent stamp set. With this two-step stamping I found it easier to stamp the outline first and then add the “fill-in” color (I stamped off to get the lighter shade). The dots are the Avant Garden Sale-A-Bration stamp set and of course the pretty glimmer paper is also from SAB. I also used the gold cord from the Baker’s Twine Trio Pack which was in the Holiday Catalog.
Stamps: Oh So Succulent, That’s the Tag, Avant Garden (SAB) Paper: Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, Sweet Sugarplum, White, Succulent Garden DSP, 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack (SAB) Ink: Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum, Tip Top Taupe, White Craft Accessories: White EP, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Baker’s Twine Trio Pack (retired), Stampin’ Dimensionals
Here are the challenges that inspired my card:
