I don’t know about you but I am so ready for Spring!!! The theme from Hand Stamped Sentiments made me think of Spring and flowers. I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Basket Bunch. There are so many great images and when you add the matching dies you can’t go wrong. And when you purchase the bundle you save 10%. Nice . . . so anyway here is my card:
Stamp: Basket Bunch, Circle of Spring Paper: Mint Macaron, So Saffron, White, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand Ink: Gray Archival, So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, Marina Mist, Wisteria Wonder, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake Accessories: Basket Builder Framelits, Sending Love Combo Pack Ribbon, Baker’s Twine Trio Pack, Stampin’ Dimensionals
I started by stamping the flowers in So Saffron on the So Saffron panel and adhered that to the Mint Macaron base. I stamped several flowers on white with Archival Gray ink. I used the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter brush and ink from the lids of several colors for the flowers and then I used the framelits to cut them out. This is the perfect opportunity to use what you have. I’ll bet you have a flower stamp already that you could use and lots of your own colors. For the center of the flowers I used a product called Nuvo Jewel Drops that I got online. I added the drops after the card was finished so they would have time to dry. I stamped the sentiment in the Gray Archival. I stamped it once on the white panel. After I used the framelit for the grass, I added just the top part of the sentiment to that piece. I stamped the basket with Crumb Cake and used a framelit to cut it out. The solid image behind the basket is Sahara Sand that was cut out with yet another framelit. I adhered the basket, then the grass and then the flowers. The white bow is from the Sending Love Combo Pack ribbon which is in the Occasions Catalog.
Here is the challenge that inspired my card:
