We are finally seeing some sunshine in the Spokane, WA area. It seems like it has been forever. It certainly brightens your mood. Today’s project is based on the sketch challenge from Mojo Monday. There are lots of bits and pieces and in the end I love how this one turned out. Want to see?
I started by adhering some of the Succulent Garden DSP to a Calypso Coral panel. I added some of the striped DSP from the same package to a Tip Top Taupe panel and adhered to the card front. Then I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper to a piece of Calypso Coral and adhered that to the card. I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink and quickly added some Clear EP and heat embossed it and added it to the front. I adhered some Calypso Coral Seam Binding Ribbon around the card and topped it off with a bow. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Stylish Stems Framelits on White cardstock for the top panel. I popped it over a piece of Calypso Coral that was cut with one of the scalloped circles from the Layering Circles Framelit. I couldn’t leave it without a realistic center so I grabbed a scrap of Daffodil Delight & the flower framelit again to get the middle.
