I chose the Best Birds stamp set and matching framelits for the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch. I started by adhering the Crumb Cake section to the Serene Scenery panel (after it was run through the Woodgrain TIEF). I added a 1/4″ strip of Early Espresso for the border and trimmed the edges. I added that panel to an Early Espresso panel and then to the Crumb Cake card base. I stamped the bird and the branch with Crumb Cake and then used the Clear Wink of Stella to color both. Those were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the sentiment, I used Crumb Cake for the background after I stamped it off once. Then I stamped the greeting with Early Espresso ink. I used the Stylish Stems Framelits to cut out the sentiment and Early Espresso backing. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the sentiment to the backing and then I added it to the card with Fast Fuse.
Stamp: Best Birds Paper: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, White, Serene Scenery DSP Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Soft Sky, Old Olive Accessories: Birds & Blooms Thinlits, Stylish Stems Framelits, Woodgrain TIEF, Clear Wink of Stella, Stampin’ Dimensonals
When I was playing around and trying to decide what to do with the front of the card, I cut out one of the birds using the thinlits so I decided to add it to the inside of the card. Along with a strip of the Serene Scenery DSP I think it gives a nice finish.
