I hope the start to your weekend is a good one and that you have some fun plans. Before I get to my project for today, I’d like to thank the design team at CAS(E) this Sketch for choosing my card as one of their top picks. If you missed my card, you can see it here. Thank you!
Now for the challenge from the Global Design Project. The theme is a 3D or off the page project. I don’t post many 3D items. I do CASE (Copy And Share Everything) many different items and make them whenever I can. So today I used the Window Box Thinlits to create a box to hold a battery operated candle. It would work well for a party or with a centerpiece. In making the box I used the small framelit with lots of holes in it so the light would flow through. I used the small flower from Stylish Stems Thinlits and the Stitched Shapes Framelits for the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and card stock to decorate the outside.
Then I added some Blushing Bride Sequins around the box. I topped it off with Rhinestones on the top for a little more sparkle. I took the pictures in the evening light so you could see the effect.
Paper: Tip Top Taupe, Blushing Bride, Blushing Bride Glimmer paper Accessories: Window Box Thinlits, Blushing Bride Sequins, Stylish Stems Thinlits, Multipurpose Glue, Tear n’ Tape, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Rhinestones
