Today’s project is based on the sketch challenge from Fab Friday and the embossing challenge from Stamp Ink Paper. I started with the white panel and Stylish Stripes TIEF (retired). I ran it through the Big Shot once, flipped it over and ran it through again to create the plaid texture. I used the Misti for the sentiment. I stamped it first in Memento ink and then again with Versamark. I sprinkled some black embossing powder over it and heat embossed it. To color the sentiment, I tried markers full on….didn’t like that. Then I tried using a blender pen….. didn’t like that. Finally I gave in and grabbed the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and colored the letters with ink from the lids of the ink pads. I know it’s nice to have markers but there are several different ways to color small images if you don’t have them. It’s always good to have a back up plan 🙂 .
Have a great day and thank you for stopping by today!
