Hi! Before I get to today’s project I wanted to take the time to thank the design team from the Global Design Project for choosing my card as one of their top picks. If you missed my card, you can see it here. It is an honor to be chosen since there are so many talented people who are represented in this challenge. Thank you!
The color challenge from the Pals Paper Arts and the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch is the basis for today’s card. After I added the Crushed Curry to the Elegant Eggplant card base I started working on the white panel for the front. I place some post it tape along two sides of the white panel. I sponged the open part with Cajun Craze, Elegant Eggplant and Crushed Curry. Then I used the smallest leaf from Vintage Leaves and stamped it randomly with Memento Ink. I stamped the next leaves on watercolor paper and then used an aqua painter with the three colors and after they dried cut them out with the matching framelits. I wrapped gold cord around the bottom of the leaves and tied a bow. The sentiment is stamped in Cajun Craze and colored in with Crushed Curry. The Layering Oval Framelits were used for the sentiment and the Elegant Eggplant background. I topped off the card with three of the Elegant Eggplant enamel shapes from the Regals collections.
Thank you for stopping by today, have a great one!
